Colorful and Deliciously Healthy!

The more colorful the fruit or veggie, the better it is for you. Here are some of my favorites which are available year ‘round.

Healthiest fruits on which to snack include:

Grapes–They’re full of anti-oxidants and anti-viral – red in particular.

Apples– Contain pectin which helps remove sticky cholesterol and boron which helps our bones. Apples also help digest fatty foods.

Bananas –They’re soothing and the less ripe ones are good for constipation. The sweetest ones are the ones slightly speckled, so choose those first if you have a craving for sweets.
