I just read a New York Times article that made me very sad. It’s all about parent’s “bullying” comments about their kid’s weight…and the impact that really has on a child.
I was one of those kids whose Mom was always commenting on what I should and shouldn’t be eating and on how I needed to lose weight.
Were you one of those kids?
Or…doing some consciousness raising here…have you ever been one of those parents, consciously or unconsciously?
If so…never too late to start the healing.
